Carole Phillips was born in1947 in Sussex but brought up in post war Tyneside. These were hard times, but taught Carole to be resourceful, determined and laugh at adversity. Carole's police career was from 1966 - 2000 in various ranks from Special Constable to Superintendent. She now lives in Devon and is a guest speaker telling her policing stories with candour and humour.
