In April 2015, my mother, Sandra Williams, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Whilst going through operations, chemotherapy and radiotherapy my mum maintained an inspirational and selfless attitude. By the end of the year, mum had finished all of her treatment, and as a family we were closer than ever before. It brings me great joy to say that my mum has since had the all clear, and things are back to normal, with the exception of us all having even more pride and love for mum. Throughout mum's battle she found Breast Cancer Care a huge support, and that's what has brought us here. A donation from each cookbook will be given to this worthy charity, in order for them to continue helping those affected by breast cancer, so they can get the best treatment, support and information.
A mother's recipe is a powerful connection to fond and comforting times.
