P. S. Sims has compiled a collection of her own poems and some recently found writings by Douglas. This collection of poems and prose is passionate and full of emotion, contrasting both the heady joys of true love and the darkest hours in the depths of despair, loneliness and desperation. It encompasses the whole range of human emotions and covers calm, comfortable companionship as well as soul-searing all-encompassing passion. There are also some more light-hearted poems, in addition to truly unique and thought-provoking pieces. Penelope has written a fitting tribute to life, love and the human condition. All in the Mind is to be savoured and treasured.
P. S. Sims was born in 1950 in Plymouth, Devon. She followed her childhood dream and became a teacher.
