Take a dark, dashing, handsome Sikh and pair him up with an adorable true English Rose...
Attractive, incredibly able and enjoying her independence, Lizzie Bryan doesn't have men on her ‘to do' list right now. That is, until she unexpectedly meets Rahul Chaudhary - an innocently charming dentist who reluctantly lives his life tied to the purse strings of his orthodox father. It doesn't take long for the love-struck dentist to realise that Lizzie is his ‘one' and, finding that she feels the same way too, the resourceful trainee teacher hatches a secret plan to allow her lover to escape the older man's clutches forever.
Not that it is all straightforward. Will Rahul be able to accept her help? The possibilities are endless for this couple but no one could foresee the fete that awaits them when they take on the toughest marathon challenge in the world.

This is the second book that I have read by this author. The first (which I discovered completely by accident in a book share corner on a campsite) hooked me in and I've finally found her second book. The author has a way of making the books easy-to-read while creating a page turner at the same time! I loved this second book even more than the first. Romantic novels wouldn't normally be my thing, but these books, especially the second are not just slush and sex. There is a genuine, believable storyline and the characters are brought to life through their everyday lives and experiences. Interjected with humour and occasionally some more thought provoking themes, I fell in love with Lizzie and Rahul (the two main characters) and found myself becoming completely engrossed in their lives and their relationship. The book has a lot going on in it - friendships, families, careers and past times are all very cleverly intertwined and brought to a satisfying conclusion. By the end of the book, I felt like I knew the two main characters personally and had lived the two years or so in time that the book covers with them. A thoughtfully added prologue also left me without the 'not knowings' that you sometimes get from such a book. For me, this book had it all - some romance, a great storyline, unexpected adventure, humour and wit. Every page was a pleasure. Hubby even read it and was surprised at how it kept him entertained! When is book three being published?
