A fictional account of life after atomic war and how the human race might respond. The story begins in 2018, deep in the Welsh Valleys. Darkness has fallen for four months leaving survivors grappling to survive and to keep their animals alive. Shelters are formed over the country and a hierarchical plan is put in place to manage the people with mating and leadership installations becoming the new normal.
