Nicolette wasn't always every man's dream but she knew exactly what she wanted and how to get it. By being in the background, observing what made a woman desirable to all men, Nicolette mastered her appearance and her mannerisms to perfection to the point she became the centre of attention wherever she went. When a wealthy businessman proposes after days of meeting Nicolette, she is shocked and unsure of what the future holds as they barely know one another. The idea of being more important than money and a man's work, happy and in love consumes her and she hopes love will blossom. Unfortunately, married life is never easy, and in this case becomes worse than anything ever imagined.

The Snowboat, Nicolette, Charles, Nicolas, Philippine and Emilio - splendid cast, would be great in a theatre show with all this deceit oozing from the pages. In the depth of winter in Switzerland romance and murder develop. When you think you have an idea what is going to happen, STOP... You don't. A romance which quickly turns sour then like quicksand. A crew together who work together while working against each other. Devine. Nicolette runs out of options when she find herself on the target list. Great husband right? Thought this element was sinister, made me laugh because that's what real marriage and romance can be like. Good one. As an avid reader this is a great plot in certain aspects this author has the ability of Stieg Larsson, my favourite author so I don't say that lightly. Comes across like a woman in parts, she is a woman so that's to be expected. Still has the bite of a man's novel generally does. A relentless plot of love, lust, murder and money. Nicolas intelligent and fifty rich, with a house to literally die for. A wife every man wants. Nicolas is quickly fraying. His pristine and prestigious lifestyle and reputation will be what kills him in the end. A taste for women, brandy, money and dominance. The cowboy who reins in the bedroom. A man every man wants to be at some point in life. Nicolas the hunter becomes the hunted by the end. We all rule in our stronger days but this is complex and gets under your skin. Makes you believe you could become a rich mafia boss overnight with all your wildest dreams coming true. A lot goes on between the pages of The Snowboat. Sex hot and bothering. Sizzling. The pages burn your fingers.

As a man thought this book wouldn't really be for me so I only bought the kindle. Bloody hell. It was off the charts. Not what I expected. SURPRISED beyond doubt. Wonderful surprise. insightful. Creative. Modern. Twisted every turn around. Fast pace. Wrote more like a man in areas which was ideal for me. Nicolas what a brut! Nicolette was hot and knew her game. New her moves and when to pounce. Women are the master manipulators and this story of brilliance depicts it over and over again. Loved the fact it was wrote with real England opposed to this slang talk I have read so much off. Intellectually challenging but added to the suspense. Made you think deeper, liked that. ABSOLUTELY wasn't an airy fairy book like what my girlfriend reads. There is a fire of a story raging out of control which a man like I can sink my teeth into. Loved the humour mixed in with all the serious murder and plots and mafia secrets going on. I see it is the first of a series, next time could more mafia be featured addicted to that stuff. Will be a fan if the work remains at such a high level.

WOW FANTASTIC book The Snowboat. Is a well executed novel from page to page. Murderer Nicolette Beaumont tries to keep out of trouble but it still manages to find her. Young and only searching for love, like all of us. Where is the harm in that? This novel is like murky water with a ghost beneath waiting to pounce. Based in Switzerland - What a dream place for any murder and seductive plot? With husband 2 Nicolette's plan is not to get too involved with her rich husband. Just get the money and a better life. Be seen for the first time. Sex, murder lovely scenery and impressive house, Nicolas husband number 2 is every woman's dream. Nicolette is my idea of the perfect woman. After being held prisoner in her marital home, finding out she is the next wife/woman up for the kill. She fights back. Self-defence how glorious. Better than just going to the police. More is happening and more is to come. Finding her inner strength. She becomes an empowered woman. Yummy. A marvellous opening and end. The middle does not lack and breaks you to your knees in adrenaline. A terrific writer who knows how to build and unveil a forever thickening plot. Sending you in straight for the kill, with a marvellous opening scene. Graphic, dramatic, but what are books for? It's what you want when you buy a book..... The surprises don't lack. Build up after build up and the very last page. Then you are left with oh my god what am I going to do now. The best part it is part of a series... Yeppie A chilling inventive writer.
