Austin Macauley Donates Books to Pets As Therapy

Giving back to the community is a big part of Austin Macauley’s culture. We recently sent collection of ‘Oliver the Owl’ books to Pets As Therapy (PAT) for their Read2Dogs initiative. The books will serve the school children which are part of this initiative. The organization has excellent initiatives and works with children, adults, and old people. Read2Dogs helps children who get nervous speaking or reading in public. When PAT’s specially trained dogs are made part of the group, the children automatically feel more relaxed. The presence of the PAT dog ensures that the kids with reading difficulties or lack of confidence are relaxed, thanks to the support of their new four legged friends. We, here at Austin Macauley support PAT in their Read2Dogs initiative because it promotes reading and improves the children’s confidence through it. A representative from PAT has this to say, “Fantastic generosity from Austin Macauley sending Crofton Schools Petts Wood a collection of Books ‘Oliver the Owl’ by Sally Baile-Young for our Pets As Therapy Labrador Marlow to read with the Children each week”. We thank them for their generous words and hope to continue working with them and support their efforts in this ingenious initiative. You can visit the PAT’s website and look at their various projects. And can also learn how you can make contributions that make a difference to the community: https://petsastherapy.org/
