The Knight of Hollows visits Cogenhoe Primary School

Rebecca Wigston, the author of ‘Tommy Wallis, The Knight of the Hollows’ visited the Cogenhoe Primary School, York Ave in Northampton.

She spoke to the children about the adventures of Tommy and distributed copies of her book.

The adventurous book introduces readers to Tommy, a very normal boy. He receives the “call” and thus begin his adventures.  He finds out that generations of his family had received this ‘calling’, even his missing father.

His friend Lola travels with him as they use a mirror to visit an unknown land.

He becomes the Knight of Hunsbury Hollow.

This land is ruled by King Arrand and it has a protector, a dragon named Mercey. The enemies of the land are Garracks who must be defeated to keep everyone safe. They surround the land and are numerous.

The fight won’t be easy but he does have friends that will help him. Along the way Tommy learns many things, which will change him forever.

Rebecca is a Northampton resident and lives with her husband, two daughters and a little dog. She is an infant school teacher and loves her work.
