Emma Guyll was born in Staffordshire and brought up in the North East of England. She later went on to study English literature at Westminster College, Oxford and Humanities at Huddersfield where she completed a degree. Her first poetry book World (C.W.) was published two years ago and she was a runner up in the National Poetry competition with Park Bench (published by National Press in Angels’ Breath).
Emma Guyll comprises an entertaining host of literary verses in her anthology book. Her poetry is one of the finest qualities, carefully and thoughtfully designed for an audience of all ages, who will undoubtedly enjoy her imaginative flair. Speech Bubbles contains a variety of short poems; each one surprises with a different theme and high literary quality.
From an audience that understands and appreciates the poetry, to those who have yet to recognise anthologies at their best, Speech Bubbles will be enjoyed by all. |
