Days later he is transferred to the State Prison of Houston, Texas, without the permission of his Afro-American lawyer, Mia Robbins, who asked a mere two days before for an extension of two weeks for the Reverend, in which the Court shall decide whether the verdict can be changed or not.

So Reverend Johnson is imposed with the death penalty, while the mysterious murder of young prostitutes in San Antonio continues. The next few weeks are sheer hell for the Reverend as he is severely maltreated several times and is forced to confess the murder of Amy Carlton, although he is innocent. Will Mia Robbins manage it to save the Reverend from the death penalty? Who really killed Amy on the night of March 12th ,1990? Is there a plot against the Reverend?
