This book is a take on ‘Paradise to Hell’ real-life stories, about real-life under-performing businesses located in real-life countries, operating in real-life industries at a time of real-life challenges in the name of innovative transformation. My life as an international business consultant; Impresario. From India to Indonesia. From Bangladesh to Australia. From Silicone Valley to Malaysia. From the northern hemisphere to the southern hemisphere. From West to East. From on-shore to off-shore. From debt to equity, from low cost, low skilled staff, to high cost, high skilled staff. From single function to multi-function, from life to death. In the life of a ‘dare devil’, frequent flier, international consultant – in what seems like a personal battle with ISIS.

Ex-professional footballer in my teens, ended by a career-ending tackle at the age of 17. Joined the luxury hotel industry as a management trainee in the West End of London, as a one-legged country boy. Born the youngest of six with ambitions of stardom, success, and riches to make up for my injury. The West End provided me with everything a young man would pray for: stars of the stage, movies, pop, theatre, royalty, rich and famous, living a chameleon existence from ‘country bumpkin’ to city-gentleman, for a decade, of thrills and spills of life in the luxury hotel industry. At the age of 10, a gypsy at a country fair predicted I would travel far, far, far away. In 1998, I emigrated to Australia after a relationship failure. I arrived in a country where life is perfect one day, and paradise the next, where I joined the ranks of academia and international business consultancy. The rest is history. Read my book.
