He has over thirty years teaching experience in low vision care from various Departments of Optometry, including King Saud University, Saudi Arabia, University of Limpopo, South Africa, University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa. He currently teaches low vision care at Madonna University, Nigeria. He has published widely in high impact Ophthalmology, Ophthalmic Sciences, Anatomy and Optometry Journals. He has published a monograph on visual impairment and a chapter on mental health and psychology in Africa.
