Born in Liverpool. The Great Port instilled in Alan a national curiosity which eventually led him to travel the oceans of the world. Providing insight to various cultures and described in poetry. It was at this time also he began to paint seascapes and sculpt to bronze semi abstract sculptures. His bronze sculpture of ‘Christ’ has been displayed in Worcester Cathedral and Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral. Now retired and living in Wales. Recording the beauty of the countryside in paintings and poetry.
