After suffering childhood sexual abuse for many years, it's fair to say it's been a dark cloud in my life. Like the weather, it can be better some days than others, but I and many like me are survivors. You can recognize survivors of abuse by their courage. When silence is so very inviting, they step forward and share their truth so others know they aren't alone.
