G. E. Matthews is an English and history teacher based in Canberra. She lives with her partner and mischievous corgi, Winston. She found her love for poetry through the words of Ted Hughes and Sylvia Plath and re-reads The Bell Jar every year. Growing Pains is her debut poetry collection. She hopes it helps soothe her readers’ growing pains.
