Emigrating from England with her family at six years of age, and having resided in many different parts of Australia: in South Australia, Tasmania, New South Wales and Victoria; after wanderings too many to relate, the author now lives in New Norfolk, in the beautiful Derwent Valley, in the south-east of Tasmania.
