Ian Morris read medicine and then philosophy and logic at Cambridge. Whilst training in surgery he spent some time in medical research. He worked as a hospital doctor in Yorkshire. He is a Methodist local preacher and has used his experience in scientific and philosophical thinking to study the origins of the Gospels.
Ian is married with two children and two grandchildren.
