Frans Merkx was born in 1966 in Bradford, West Yorkshire to a Pakistani Muslim father and Dutch-South American Catholic mother. He was brought up in a very turbulent and rough time in Northern England. From being never accepted by either Asian or White people, Frans struggled and fought his way to the top through life. His struggles have taken him through being the outcast to the pop star and again hitting rock bottom only for him to rise again to the very top. Frans was and has always been one of those guys who out of nothing did everything.
