Paul Travers
Paul Travers is President Emeritus and Examiner of a prestigious learned body and a total individualist who is perfectly indifferent to public opinion and proud of his eccentricity. He enjoys writing and classical music and firmly believes there is more fun to be had by growing old disgracefully rather than gracefully. This book is based on his own experiences of a life which, to say the least, has been colourful and exciting. Many years ago he worked as a professional drag artiste and is honest enough to admit that he was totally devoid of talent. He got away with it simply because, unlike many others of that era, he had the courage to get up and do it. He is a firm believer in the old adage ‘life is what you make it’.
