Richard Davies MBE

Richard was born on the Gaer estate, Newport, Gwent, South Wales. He is married to Barbara. They have two married children, Nathan (Sarah) and Bethan (Matt); and four grandchildren, Lucy, Isaac, Sophie and Jessica. Storytelling has always been a strong part of Richard’s life, which came into its own after his children were born. It was during this era, especially when his daughter was growing up, that the stories of ‘The Land of Pleasant’ began. Many years later, ‘The See Thru Man’ became a key figure in them and the stories were given anew lease of life.
