Sally Ann Chan
Sally Ann CHAN is an actor and singer, originally from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and currently living in Paris, France. She began writing fiction from the age of six, starting with a story that was rather twisted for her age and kept going throughout her schooling years as an occasional escapism from the education system.
Upon graduating from high school, she completed her studies with a Diploma in Performing Arts and Media in Malaysia. After which, in order to finance her studies and see the world, she left Malaysia and worked as a flight stewardess with Singapore Airlines Limited for three years before returning to the arts scene to obtain her BA (Theatre) in Australia.
She has written a few short plays, of which two were mounted as professional pieces, 'If Your Cat and I were Drowning' and 'Debt of Love' at the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre. She has also written two short articles about her deceased dogs, as a teenager, that were published in the Malaysian National newspaper, The Star Newspaper.
Living in France, she is now working on other novels while continuing her passion performing for the theatre, cinema and musical theatre scenes.
