Selma Smyly

Selma Smyly grew up in Finland in a bilingual Finnish-Swedish family. She has always been a lover of books and believer in the power of stories. She came to study and live in the UK in the 1970s. Since then, she has worked as a Clinical Psychologist both in the UK and Zimbabwe. She has published a number of academic papers but this is her first children’s book. She currently lives with her husband in Oxfordshire and has recently become a grandmother.
