“Oh no, can you smell that odour? That smell must belong to an ogre! Yes, an ogre with a stinky smelly toe. Who thinks everyone is not a friend, but foe?”

Nigel’s imagination always goes wild at bedtime. Except tonight, a brave Nigel is armed with a flashlight to explore sounds, shadows, and even smells in the night.

Read along with this whimsy bedtime story and discover that imagined witches, ogres and even judo trained dingoes are not what they seem.

This book was enjoyed by both Mum and her daughter.
It tells the story of a young boy called Nigel who has a big imagination, especially at bedtime.
One night his mum gives him some advice to help him through the night.
My daughter saw herself in this book saying it's just like me mummy, I also think lots at bedtime especially about spiders.
She loved the illustrations. They were uncomplicated and clear.
We read it together and also on her own.

Absolutely love this book! The colours and illustrations help capture little one’s attention. The rhyming is so fun and makes reading along easy. The story line itself touches on a scenario that every parent and their little one will experience (being afraid of the dark due to an overactive imagination) and offers a fun way to help navigate through it. This will certainly be a book that grows with my child and a sure bedtime favourite.
