Alice is the only person to see what happens to two East End kids on the council estate, but she has Alzheimer’s and proves of little help. DI Joe Stein and DC Belle Guiles soon find out that this is part of a London-wide series of executions that have taken place, where justice replaces the law.

Brian Roffe was born and raised in the East End of London. After thirty years of working as an Environmental Health Officer, he retired to a small island in North Essex. He now lives with his partner, Grace, and between them they have four children, five grandchildren and two dogs which keep them busy.
