A Book Group Gathered for Keith Bradbury’s First Novel

Keith Bradbury published his first novel, Let the Dead-Hold Your Hand, in February 2022. A book group gathered together for the book signing, the book distribution and the author’s interview in the North East of England recently.

Let the Dead-Hold Your Hand is an intriguing tome comprising 226 pages, based on the character of Lucy E Hawksmoor. She has set out on the quest of finding the final resting place of the last king of Moors, Boabdil. Little did she know how much resistance she’d have to face in pursuit of this conquest from the far-right groups of Spain. Meanwhile, she meets the attractive and mysterious Gloria, who claims to have guarded the location of Boabdil’s tomb for the last 600 years with the support of her family. Fierce riots initiate all over Granada and Alhambra due to Lucy’s persistent attempts to find the tomb. Consequently, Lucy receives life threats from anonymous sources and can’t comprehend who might be behind all this? Is Gloria all she seems to be? Is Lucy going to make it? It’s an epic story that reveals the fine wines, food, cuisines, cities and the history of Spain and the Moors in a crafty manner.
