I was intrigued by the synopsis of the book, it seemed really interesting, a bit unusual and really catchy. Being a lover of the genre, I had to read it and write down my thoughts on it.
First of all, I loved the world of this book and the world building, I loved being introduced to the characters that are VERY interesting and I loved taking part in their lives and daily activities. The main character is pretty badass!
The action of the book was easy to follow and the events did spark my eye and made me want to eagerly find out what happens next. It will take its grip on you! And while I was reading it, I loved that the chapters of this book are short, there is something about books with long chapters that isn't so appealing.
I can say I enjoyed the writing style of this book more than I enjoyed the plot, there are certain parts that seemed like they could've been edited better or just are a bit weird. Whatsoever, this is a good book and I really loved reading it. And I can sincerely recommend it to all fantasy overs out there!
One bad thing though, I don't want to be rude, but the cover is a no-no. It was a huge turn off for me, it seems a little bit out of place and just weird.
