Giancarlo Bunni is a curious little rabbit, born in the heart of the Easter season. When he first ventures out of his burrow with his mother and sisters, Giancarlo’s adventurous spirit leads him away from his family, drawn by the sounds of laughter and excitement. He discovers a lively field where joyous two-legged creatures hunt for colorful eggs. But amid the laughter and excitement, a sudden mishap occurs—one of the children falls, turning joy into distress…
In William R. Miller’s enchanting story The Bunny Who Loved Bocce—inspired by a true event—an observant young rabbit encourages Beverly, a young girl, to recover from an accident, while at the same time teaching himself a curious human game.
Filled with entertaining illustrations, the book includes a set of rules for Bocce, a recipe for a special carrot cake, and instructions for making a motion simulator paddle.
