Billy the Lion Cat

Billy is a handsome ginger cat who one day mysteriously grows a lion's mane. So is he a lion or is he a cat?

Deborah Duesbury was born in Manchester in 1960. Deborah currently lives in a market town in Leicestershire with her husband and has one daughter. Inspired by the enjoyment of reading to her three grandsons, Deborah decided to write her own book. Although Deborah is creative in other aspects, this is the first time she has attempted to write a book.

I bought the book for my grandchildren, they loved it. Great use of rhyme throughout the story. Hope there will be others by this author to follow.

My 7-year-old loves reading this book. The rhyming story is great for reading out loud and the illustrations make him giggle.
