Jimena has always been surrounded by stories. When she was a little girl she loved picture books, inventing stories and narrating them to the people around her. She decided to take up ballet at the age of 6, so she could dance to some of the stories she was so passionate about. She also loves creating magical pieces of music which narrate a story. Her heart opens when she is playing the flute at a garden, by the ocean or warmly contained within a field of daisies. Her first big piece of creative writing was her doctoral thesis.
