Elaine McAllister
Elaine McAllister was born in County Tipperary, Ireland, and has two adult children.
As a stay-at-home mother, she wrote many unpublished poems and also, wrote Lattie the Toe
It wasn’t until her first grandchild was born with Apert syndrome, a rare genetic disorder, that inspired her to put the story to print.
Eventually, Elaine pursued a 20-year career working with children with additional needs.
She is now retired and lives with her husband, Richard, in County Clare.
