Michael A. Pickles hails from scenic Nova Scotia, Canada. He has been teaching for over 30 years in the K-12 system, at the college level, and at the board level and has also served as a school administrator. He was fortunate to teach in all three of Canada’s northern territories; the Yukon, Nunavut, and the Northwest Territories. He has also taught overseas in Malawi, Africa and in Guyana and Ecuador, South America. Besides being an author, he is an educator, speaker and a podcaster.
