Liora is a paediatric occupational therapist who has grown up in Melbourne, Australia, with her parents, older and younger brothers and two pet cavoodles. Her passion for writing stems from her early childhood, when her dad routinely read to her and her brothers with unforgettable passion and animation. She fell in love with reading at a young age and always favoured English lessons at school. Liora spent her high school and university years looking after young children as a babysitter, nanny, disability support worker and therapy assistant, all of which incorporated reading or looking at children’s picture books. Liora strongly believes in the power of books to inspire and educate children and is excited to be accomplishing her dream of publishing her own picture book.
