Chris and Matty stumble upon a hidden gem at an auction: a charming, ivy-draped cottage in desperate need of restoration. With dreams of turning it into their dream home, they enlist the help of their close friends, John and Isabel. But as the renovations begin, the foursome are drawn into the intriguing history of the cottage’s past occupants. As the layers of the home’s legacy are peeled back, secrets emerge, intertwining their present with a past they could never have imagined.

Born and bred in the countryside, now living in the west Yorkshire Dales. Anthony Phillips enjoys DIY, gardening, church bell ringing, choral, harmony singing and barbershop singing. He spent most of his working life in agriculture, horticulture and arboriculture, both as a worker and more recently, as a lecturer in organic horticulture, rural studies and playing field/golf course management.
