Author R H Young to Attend a Book Signing and Reading Event at Printed Matter Bookshop
Printed Matter Bookshop invites R H Young who has authored Dhanmondi Road – a riveting contemporary read, to attend the book signing/reading event on Monday 14th October 2019. Book readers have a chance of listening to their favourite author as Young will be reading a few pages from his book. Also, you can get a signed copy of his book as he will be concluding the event by signing the copies of the book. Dhanmondi Road covers the mayhem and aftermath of the independence war of Bangladesh. It is 1973, though the war has been over, the chaos remained in the country. A young Australian guy, Gareth McKinley, arrives in Bangladesh. He intends to work on a project of taking care of the impoverished children but soon realizes that living and working in a post-war environment can be risky.  After sometimes a crisis comes on the surface when some of the project children’s couldn’t be accounted for. Does the letter received from Dubai hold a mysterious explanation and information about the crisis? Grab a copy of the book to know how a country in havoc affects the lives of its people. R H Young belongs to Australia but is a resident of England since the 1990s. His debut novel mirrors his experiences of spending life in Bangladesh in the 1970s. He is into social work and serves as a university lecturer.
