Wallingford Bookshop will be hosting a book signing event. The bookshop has invited the author Alexandra Hammond for signing the copies of her book ‘Pandemonium in New York’. The author hopes to have a successful event with a great number of young reading community members to attend the book signing. ‘Pandemonium in New York’ is an interesting storybook for children with an adventurous tale. Ponchos is an adorable factory-made panda, who magically comes to life and ends up in a zoo. There he is shocked to discover that a dangerous gang is planning to kidnap a baby panda on loan from China. How can he stop their evil plan? Alexandra is married to Tim and lives with him in Oxfordshire. She finds her solace, love and pride in her family having 3 grown-up children and 5 grandchildren. Alexandra has served in the NHS for 40 years, predominantly in Children and Young Peoples Services. She spent her childhood in Pakistan and Africa before moving to England.
