Explore Espionage and Mystery at ‘The Phoenix Project’ Book Event
Be at the Coventry Community Library in March and listen to Roger Parkes discussing his intrigue filled book ‘The Phoenix Project’. Roger takes us to the 1960s, amidst turmoil around the world. Many nations were going through political upheaval and for British government, the threat came from Communism. This is where they bring in someone that has dealt with Communist tactics before, Polly Bottomley. She will step into dangerous situations in order to find out what the Soviets are planning against them. The conspiracies and adventures in this book are enough to take you on a whirlwind tour of that turbulent period. The author hails from Coventry and has an engineering background. He also has experience of running his own businesses. This is his second novel and he has painted a vivid picture with his words.
