Austin Macaulay’s talented author, Noorie Hammond, will be giving an exclusive radio interview on Salaamedia where she will be talking about her book, Daughters of the Sun and much more. The event will also be broadcasted live on their Facebook page: Daughters of the Sun is a true story regarding racism and oppression of the infamous apartheid era in South Africa. The story is about a typical South African family and their life amidst daily sufferings and hardships. The author is a Literature and Psychology graduate and is an avid reader and poetry writer. She was the award winner for short story competition as well. Being born and raised in Kimberley, South Africa, during the apartheid era, Noorie recounts her real experiences and stories in the book.
