Indeed, some offerings are personal and meaningful to the author who has no qualms about sharing his feelings and thoughts.

It is hoped that you will enjoy the author’s writings and take something away in terms of stimulating food for thought! As you will deduce, it is far removed from romantic poetry. Rather, it is very much contemporary verse written for today. Do enjoy at your leisure.

These poetic pieces are based on the human spirit, which is the realisation that underneath the obvious, there is something deeper going on, a connection that is felt yet is easily overlooked. The human spirit can be explored and discussed in a general way, but most importantly, it is a profound aspect of ourselves that should be celebrated, because despite our differences, we know that in spirit, we are all one. Each nation, each culture, has something unique to give to the world, and world civilization is the richer for it. Humanity should really be defined by the word ‘celebration’ as differentiation is enriching us, and offers a greater understanding of who we are as a species on this planet.

This book contains pieces of the author’s poetry dating back to the early 1990s and going up to the present day.
It shows the poetic journey over the years that the author has been learning Welsh.
It also contains a few pieces of “Micro Literature” written to help learn Welsh idioms and sayings.
The poetry ranges from the humorous to the contemplative and serious, dealing with various subjects from being a Welsh learner to the world of nature and even touching on the world of politics.
