Spirit of Severn’s theme is all about Britain’s natural longest waterway. The multi-stranded sacred story revolves around Sabrina’s course and its beautiful estuary. The story is quite intriguing and depicts a lot about British Isle’s myths.

The author Michael Dames worked in education for much of his career, teaching both art and history of art. His Books West of England, Wales and Ireland with The Silbury Treasure and The Avebury Cycle, are now regarded as classics of the genre and are worth reading as well.
