Derbyshire Times is a local British Newspaper with wide circulation. Stinky and his mate by Rick Carpenter was launched recently and is featured in one of Derbyshire’s article. Rik Carpenter’s Stinky and his mate is a fun adventure filled journey which revolves around a group of flies that make a perilous journey through a neighbourhood. The flies devise plans to avoid obstacles and dangers that lay ahead, they get acquainted with three funky looking spiders and soon learn to avoid them. The flies befriend a polychromatic butterfly during their journey. The story has twists and weird characters that embellish the quirkiness and increase the interest of the reader.

Rik Carpenter is a debut author and a part-time teacher. He possesses a unique sense of humour which is funny, curious and outlandish. Stinky and his mate evidently showcase Rik’s vivid imagination in full bloom.
