He took a disastrous start as a racing driver, which triggered the spark in him.

The author Brian Sims was born in Chiswick in 1964. He received his education at Hounslow College, getting five GCE O-Levels. He is the founder of the Motorsport Industry Association. He is awarded an Honorary Doctorate by Birmingham City University in 2018.
