Nina Norman Proctor visited Manx Radio to discuss her Children’s Book

Author of ‘G’Day Captain Jimbo: An Australian Adventure’ was a guest on Women Today radio show. Her son accompanied her at the Manx Radio station and talked about his mom’s book.

Alex, Nina’s son, is the inspiration behind the book because he is fond of flying and pilots. The story takes readers young and old on an adventure as they join Captain Jimbo on his plane.

He welcomes people to World Airlines jet along with his co-pilot.

The plane is taking off from London Airport and welcoming anyone who is interested in flying across the world. The plane is traveling to Australia.

The passengers are a collection of wonderful characters.

Readers can learn about the country they are traveling to in the book and also learn about flying and planes.

Nina is settled on the Isle of Man with her family. She has lived there at the age of 2. She loves traveling and has spent time in places like Harrogate and Gibraltar.

As a child, she also spent time in Trinidad.

Her time is spent reading, sewing, interior designing and writing. This is her first book, published by Austin Macauley Publishers.
