Rachel Farren, the author of an amazing historical fiction, MiDei Pa’am, attended the book club event on 22nd January 2020 at Tattenhall Ladies Book Club. The author had a wonderful time discussing different books including her debut novel MiDei Pa’am.

MiDei Pa’am is the story of a Berlin Jew, named Manny Blumenthal who has to face the Kristallnacht and the Holocaust. He survives by seeking refuge at Machester’s Cottonopolis. Manny rebuilds the fashion empire of his family that was destroyed by Nazism. The story also includes Maeve, who is in illicit contact with Manny and had escaped from her marriage and poverty to become a fashion designer.

Rachel Farren grew up in Salford and is a PhD scholar. She enhanced her writing skills during her PhD and furthered her storytelling’s passion by writing MiDei Pa’am.
