The author of Idling in a Retrogressive Groove, Julianne Harper was interviewed by Vectis Radio on 25th June 2019. Julianne opened about her fight with depression. She told Richcochet how she survived with Bipolar Depression as a child. She changed many career paths as she wasn’t sure about one particular career. But interestingly was good at sales. Later in her life, she got addicted to alcohol which leads her to the dark world of depression. She further added that the book reflects the happenings of her life and how she is still fighting with depression.
The book Idling in a Retrogressive Groove is based on the true story of the author’s sufferings and fight with depression. She meets a completely different individual with a different story. Have their paths crossed for a reason? Or he is just another person in her life? Find it out in this thought-provoking yet heart-wrenching read.
The author Julianne Harper was born in 1998 in Berkshire but brought up in Oxfordshire. She is married and currently lives with her husband in Hampshire. She had a rather disturbing life and became an alcoholic. She is still fighting with depression and recovering to her normal life.
