Author of ‘Only Human’, Anthony Kee Will Be attending a Book Signing Event at WHSmith

The WH Smith Bookstore will be hosting a book signing event for the Anthony Kee, where he will sign the copies of his thrilling sci-fi book ‘Only Human’. The author plans to interact with the attendants of the event and answer their questions about his book. ‘Only Human’ is a page-turner Sci-fi book with a thrilling story that feels so real that it might give you Goosebumps. Archaeologist Edgar Blake and his team on an expedition to Tibet, accidentally make a terrifying discovery. Will Blake’s team be able to demystify the surprising buried mysteries of what lies in the timeline of human history before time runs out? Anthony Kee is based in Lancashire, England. After his children started to lead an independent life, he finally got time to pursue his long with-held passion for writing. He always enjoyed reading great books and now finally have achieved the goal of becoming a published author.

Book Signing and Talk by Linden Carroll, the Author of ‘Olive’

Chapters in Pinetree Village is hosting a book signing event for Linden Carroll, where she will sign the copies of her darling book ‘Olive’ and deliver a talk about her book and strengths of Women. She will also highlight her perspective on effects of War on survivors. ‘Olive’ is a historical fiction written in the time spans from the end of the 19th century through WW-II. The protagonist, Olive, was shunned by her family at birth but the clever lady learned to survive taking most advantage out of opportunities and to avail whatever offer life brought her. But all this came at a price and burden fell on the children to bear the cost. Linden Carroll is a British author who has travelled around the USA and Canada. She currently lives in British Columbia and enjoys taking walks with her fur buddy and campfires. She has a keen interest in historical wars British people were exposed to. West Vancouver Memorial Library is hosting a book signing event for ‘Olive’. The author Linden Carroll will be attending the event and will sign the copies of her book for the attendants of the event. Do not forget to grab your signed copy. ‘Olive’ is an inspirational historical fiction about a girl shunned by her family at birth. She survived using whatever means she had and learned to use her sex, guile and music skills to her benefit. Olive symbolises the strength of the women and kind of impact a woman could have on those around her. Linden Carroll is originally from England but has travelled around Canada and Northern Washington, USA before finally settling down in British Columbia. Through her writings, she wants to reinforce the importance of those loyal souls.

Barnes and Noble to Host a Book Signing Event for ‘Ifrit’ by Javaid Laghari

Barnes & Noble will be hosting a book signing event for the book ‘Ifrit’ by Javaid Laghari. The author Javaid Laghari will attend the event to sign the copies of his latest thriller and hopefully will answer the questions of the audience. ‘Ifrit’ is a thrilling story of terrorism wrapped in religious extremism and mystical practices of black magic. The story is set in Pakistan and shows an interesting side of the political war with India and government trying to tackle terrorist groups within the country. Javaid Laghari is a Pakistani author who has published three books previously and this is his fourth publication. He is the Ex-Chairman of Higher Education Commission and has also served as a Senator in Pakistan. He enjoys reading and travelling. He currently lives in Houston along with his wife and two sons.

Upcoming Book Signing by Tony Muddimer, the Author of ‘Childhoods Are Forever’

WHSmith in Leicester is hosting a book signing event for author Tony Muddimer, the author will be promoting his autobiography ‘Childhoods Are Forever’. He will be signing the copies of his book full of adventures and war heroes for young readers. ‘Childhoods Are Forever’ is an autobiography of a child raised in an environment which influenced Ian Fleming, the creator of James Bond, to write ‘A License to Kill’. Tony was born before World War II. During the war his father joined Special Forces intelligence-gathering, Royal Marine Commandos. This gave Tony exposure to all those courageous soldiers and untold stories of their adventures, combating and progressing through enemy lines to acquire classified German secrets. Tony Muddimer had a difficult childhood coloured with German bombing raids, stark food scarcities and evacuation from his own home to Tenby in South Wales. His classrooms were crammed with students as most teachers were deployed to serve the army. His father was one of the brave soldiers from intelligence-gathering commandos.

Dr John A Lunn, the Author of ‘Memories of a National Service Doctor’ to Deliver a Talk

Princes Risborough Library has invited Dr John A Lunn to deliver a talk about his life and his autobiography ‘Memories of a National Service Doctor’. Dr John Lunn plans to address the audience and share some interesting events from his life and providing insight on the life of a National Service Doctor, hoping to motivate young readers to pursue a similar career path. ‘Memories of a National Service Doctor’ is an interesting and eventful memoir of the author in which he shares the heroism of young National Servicemen serving the nation during war and peace and life-threatening situations. The book reflects on his affection towards the glorious British army. Dr John A Lunn is a retired hospital consultant who has serviced in a specialist ward at St Mary’s Hospital, London and was a member of the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation of the UK Department of Health. Now as a retired citizen, he spends his time making baskets, restoring antique chairs, and growing organic vegetables.

Author Geoff Swift will be visiting a School to Deliver a Talk for the Students

‘The Friendly Giant Called Zak and His Friend Rory the Misnamed Monster’ by Geoff Swift will be the centre of attention in all discussions at Lenzie Meadow Primary School, Glasgow  for a while as the School has invited Geoff Swift to address the the students. ‘The Friendly Giant Called Zak and His Friend Rory the Misnamed Monster’ is an interesting children’s story full of adventures as Zak and Rory decides to explore all the seas and oceans in the world. They meet new creatures and befriend them but there are some creatures who want to hurt Rory. Geoff Swift is a former Business Development Director who worked in services industry.  After his retirement he turned to writing and really enjoyed writing his first series of children books. This is his debut book.

Sowerby Bridge Library will be hosting an exciting book signing event for Duane Ratswander’s books ‘The Ministry of Adrian’ and ‘Hobbyards’. Duane Ratswander will be signing the copies of both his books for the readers who enjoy his work. ‘The Ministry of Adrian’ is a mystery story in which a family drama and school bullying lead up to unleashing an ancient terror which can turn nightmares into a reality. ‘Hobbyards’ is a thriller which will get your heart pumping so fast that it will jump into your throat but you will not be able to put the book down. A police sergeant who has a drinking problem and has lost custody of his son because he shot a bank robber and couldn’t even use a gun. However, things took a fresh turn when he bought the old military facility. Duane Ratswander studied Australian Literature and History. He has a master’s degree in creative writing from the University of Leeds. He has taught English language in different countries including Hong Kong, Japan, China (Beijing), Poland and Kuwait, which has only given him exposure that polished him as a writer. Duane resides in Leeds, UK, along with his wife and two children.
