Sea Point Library to Host Book Talk for ‘For Better Only’

The Sea Point Library at Cape Town, South Africa will host a Book Talk in honor of Jean-Pierre Murray Kline’s book, ‘For Better Only’. The author is going to discuss his book at the event and will talk about the inspiration behind writing the book. The book’s story is about a relationship where Julien is left heartbroken due to the parting of his partner whom he has known for the past 26 years. He recalls his memories with his partner comparing the pain experienced through the ending of their marriage. He described that how he developed his business from the scratch and his husband was the motivation behind all his progress. He thinks that the drift started to get bigger when he went to Johannesburg for his business expansion and it leads to the parting of his relationship with his husband. The author, Jeanne Pierre was born to a South African family and he currently resides in South Africa. He is a successful business owner and has expertise in various other divisions within his company.

Amanda Kehoe of ‘TJ and his Wheelable Chair’ will be attending the Children’s Book Festival

Author of the book, ‘TJ and his Wheelable Chair’, Amanda Kehoe will be attending a Children’s Book Festival at Orange Coast College, Orange County. Special Guests like Danica McKellar, Shawn Wayans, Nicole Stott and Sheetal Sheth will also be a part of the event. There will also be a sneak peak of OCC’s New Planetarium. Amanda Kehoe’s book is about a disabled child who has this utmost respect and passion for life. He cannot walk or talk but he still loves to listen and play with his friends. He doesn’t let his disability to cause obstacles in living his life. He might not be like other kids but his incapacities are what make him unique in a very positive way. He is a real inspiration for many kids who are disappointed as he shows the world that infirmities are no barrier to living a happy and progressive life. The author, Amanda Kehoe was born in 1976 and she grew up in the town of Ballinteer on the suburbs of Dublin. She graduated from Dublin Business School and is a qualified Montessori Teacher and SNA.

Amanda Kehoe of ‘TJ and his Wheelable Chair’ to go to Orange Coast College

The author of the book, ‘TJ and his Wheelable Chair’, Miss. Amanda Kehoe will be visiting a book festival at the Orange Coast College, California. She will be there for the promotion of her book. This is a story about an abnormal boy, TJ, who cannot walk or talk but still loves to listen and to play with his friends. He is paralyzed yet he is so lively in his own manner. He does not let his disability to become an obstacle in his way. He is a playful boy and enjoys the company of others. He likes to visit places and wants to stay happy all the time. The author, Amanda Kehoe was born in 1976. She spent her childhood in Ballinteer, on the suburbs of Dublin. She graduated from the Dublin Business School and worked for many years in the Marketing sector. She currently lives in Newbridge with her husband and three children.

Colinton Library Edinburgh to host Book Talk for Alison Hill of ‘Seal Lodge of Kintyre’

Author of the book, ‘Seal Lodge of Kintyre’, Alison Hill will be visiting Colinton Library at Edinburgh for a book talk. The author will discuss the important aspects of her book and will answer the audience questions at the event. This is a book about the lost legend of the Mull of Kintyre. It took place in Scotland and the myth revives itself as by awakening the spirit of the Bloody Preacher and much more. Kate is asked to look into the history of Seal Lodge of Kintyre and it is when she discovers something unexpected. It is a covenanter priest who was buried with the deadly desires for his enemies. His story is well documented and now Kate has to solve this mystery of the priest. The author, Alison Hill is a keen observer of the myths, legends and stories told around Scotland. She travels around the country in search of stories with her dogs. She lives in Edinburgh who has recently turned towards writing.

Oswestry Library to Host the Book Reading and Meet the Author Event for ‘Money is Easy’

The Oswestry Library in Shropshire will host the book reading and meet the author event for the book, ‘Money is Easy’, written by Joan Shirley-Davies. The book is based on the story of Lizzy Yardley, the protagonist who designs wedding gowns and has a small growing business. She is constantly facing some mysterious and dangerous problems in her business which she can’t even report to the police due to some unknown reasons. It makes it exciting how she receives help from her landlord, Tony Franklin. Tony lost her girlfriend in a tragic accident in Paris. Lizzy on the other side is not looking for a relationship but there is a definite chemistry between them which they can’t deny. She finds it very difficult to reject him as she has already faced a broken engagement in the past. The author, Joan Shirley-Davies resides in Shropshire who has had a great interest in acting and writing but she opted for writing plays and this is her transition book from playwright to novels.

Rayleigh Library to host ‘Meet the Author’ event for Charlotte Powell of ‘The Harbour Gulls’

A ‘Meet the Author’ event is going to be held Rayleigh Library for Charlotte Powell of ‘The Harbour Gulls’. The author will be there at the event for a brief introduction and promotion of her book. The book’s story is about a young seagull, Hedley, who lives with his parents and is dependent on them for food. He can’t find his own nourishment and is afraid of the sea. He doesn’t know how to fly and fish. His parents have taught him to live off the food provided by the tourists. His life changes when he meets an Australian seagull who teaches him the art of flying and fishing. Hedley finds his courage in his wings. He feels like his life is all new and he loves it. The author, Charlotte Powell is affiliated with NHS as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. She likes to write as it is her favorite hobby and she hopes to continue storytelling in the future.

Indigo Spirit to Host Book Signing of ‘Forgetting the Dreamtime’ by G.V. Loewen

The Indigo Spirit bookshop in Vancouver will be hosting the book signing ceremony of ‘Forgetting the Dreamtime’ which is written by G.V. Loewen. The author will spend the afternoon there for the promotion of his book. This book is about the struggles of a teenage girl who had enough of following her parent’s intense rules. She becomes rebellious and disobedient against the strict way of life. Once she finds herself in the midst of this intriguing mystery and it is not anything that her willful imaginations could have ever imagined. In order to overcome it, she will have to give every drop of the power of her faith. This is a character which at first people will dislike but later on admire it for its brave and intelligent nature. The author, G.V. Loewen is from Canada and is a philosopher. He has written more than 20 books on the topics of art, ethics, religion, and politics. He has also remained a professor in Canada and US for the past 25 years.

WHSmith to Host Book Signing of Jean and Jamie Illingworth’s Book

The WHSmith at Coney Street, York will be hosting the book signing ceremony of Jean and Jamie Illingworth’s ‘Danny’s Christmas’. The authors will be there at the event for the promotion of their book and they will sign copies. The book is co-written by a son and a Mom. ‘Jean’ the mother and ‘Jamie’ the son teamed up to produce their first book Danny Dragon series. This is an adventurous series which describes the stories of a lonely dragon and his friendships. The second book of the series is ‘Danny’s Christmas’ which is about Danny’s the Dragon’s magical Christmas story. It tells how Danny tries to save his little brave friend Susie. The author, Jean has a profession in safety advising and also in landscape photography. She has always been interested in poetry and stories. Jamie, her son also likes to write and is an illustrator. He is trained in 3D animations. Together they have produced this marvelous piece of stories.
