Susan Ambler is a writer of short stories for children. The Curious Adventures of Wormster Pinkbody Maggot is her debut book.
Susan, now retired, worked in social care for many years. It was during this time that the seeds for her story began to grow. The source? A range of stress toys brought into the office.
The inspiration to write her book came from colleagues who enjoyed listening to her stories about the antics of the characters she created based on these toys. Encouraged by her colleagues, Susan put pen to paper, and her ideas became the pages of her book.
