ANITA BACHA, C.S.K., has spent over thirty-five years making children her passion and cause. Her personal experiences as a motherless child, along with interactions with friends, siblings, children, and grandchildren, combined with her expertise as a barrister, senior magistrate, and adoption expert, have reinforced her belief that children need understanding, respect, love, care, a safe family environment, and protection to grow up as healthy, normal human beings.


A signatory to the Hague Convention of 1993 on the Protection of Children in Intercountry Adoption, she now revels in writing storybooks for children and young readers, emphasising their power of imagination and creativity.
