Jodie Barton is a dedicated primary school teacher and passionate advocate for children’s literacy. She believes in the power of books to transport children into imaginative worlds and magical adventures, regardless of their circumstances. With a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Graduate Diploma of Education (Early Childhood Studies) Jodie combines her education and experience to guide and support young children commencing their reading journeys.
Jodie lives in the sunny city of Perth, Western Australia, with her football-obsessed son, Hamish, food-obsessed Labrador dog, George, and sleep-obsessed cat, Maggie. When she’s not writing, she may be found at the beach, catching up with friends, baking or enjoying a great Scandi drama.
