Robin Calvert was born in the UK. He was one of the winners of the BBC’s World Cup Tapes monologue competition from Writersroom (2006). Robin graduated from the University of Central Lancashire with a first-class bachelor Arts degree in Film/Television Screenwriting (2011), where he further honed his creative writing skills. He contributed to the audio download anthology from www.wordofmouthproductions.co.uk, Ghost Stories UK Vol 3 with ‘Mrs Hambleton’s Ottoman’ (2014). From 2015, Robin has researched, designed and presented PowerPoints on recently departed celebrities including, Roger Moore, Ken Dodd, Doris Day, Diana Rigg and actors who have played Doctor Who.
He loves words, TV/film and cold-water fish!
